Life is; It does not become.

It does not say anything; we interpret it.
It does not always change; we later see it differently.
It does not stop for one instant; we simply time it.
It does not exactly grow or shrink; we just measure it.
It does not exactly happen; we just mark it at some point.
It does not always change direction; we change the viewing angle.
It does not give directions; we follow them.
It does not take any side; we chose where to stand.

It may always continue; but we may not know that.

It does not become – as it already has being;
We just finally discovered it; we finally lived it.

Night! Please take me – somewhere!

Put me in wander, put me in the whereabouts!
Bring me back later – Keep me until tomorrow!
Wait until Sunrise changes shifts with you;
For as here in captivity causes me sorrow!

Show me a night to never forget,
A night to live for the rest of my life.
Give me memories that show only for an instant,
But that habituate in my soul forever.

Moments that end as fast as they come,
But that stay imprinted in eternity.
Moments for which I get convinced to honor,
Deserving declaration of a day of remembrance.

Set me free, put me somewhere!
As here, now, it already feels like nowhere.
Carry me, be my escort, show me the way,
One that does not yet exist but is meant to be.

Show me what the world has to offer,
Because you do know that well by experience,
Beauty and wonder are on the loose daily,
